To promote the healthy physical and emotional growth of multicultural youth,
Samsung is supporting the Samsung Sports Class for Youth,
which offers sports education (Healthy Body Class)
and psychological/emotional support (Healthy Mind Class).
Children from different cultural backgrounds are participating in the soccer class run by the Samsung Sports Class for Youth.

Eligibility
Multicultural youth, elementary school students (grades 3-6)
and middle school students (grades 1-2)
Content
  • Healthy Body Class:
    a sports class designed to develop physical abilities and teamwork
  • Healthy Mind Class:
    a program to improve social skills and provide emotional healing
    for better adjustment to school life

Employee participation (employees take part in activities, such as summer sports camps, friendly matches through sports clubs, and career/job mentoring)

  • The program began operations in 2024
    with 280 multicultural youths
    (elementary and middle school students) participating

This new CSR initiative was selected through
an open call for ideas from employees,
the program officially began in March 2024,
following the launch ceremony
in November 2023.

    (choose from soccer, table tennis, badminton,
    taekwondo, or basketball)

    28 professional sports instructors (connected to
    employee sports clubs and volunteer activities
    from Samsung’s sports teams)

  • Healthy Mind Class (10 sessions)
    Psychological and emotional stability education
    (improving peer relationships, restoring self-identity,
    fostering social skills)

In 2025, ‘Youth Club Admission Support Class’
will be launched to support multicultural
youths with sports talents.

  • Eligibility: Multicultural youths with talent among those
    who have completed the ‘soccer’ program
  • Content: A separate ‘Youth Club Admission Support Class’ will be established,
    providing focused training with professional instructors

    Specialized training for entrance tests, support for sports equipment,
    and 1:1 mentoring by professional players from Samsung's teams

  • Eligibility:
    Multicultural youths with talent among those who have completed the ‘soccer’ program
  • Content:
    A separate ‘Youth Club Admission Support Class’ will be established, providing focused training with professional instructors

    Specialized training for entrance tests, support for sports equipment, and 1:1 mentoring by professional players from Samsung's teams

Children from the youth club application support class, made up of children from multicultural backgrounds who are talented in soccer, are smiling brightly on the playground.

Even after completing the sports class,
graduates will have opportunities
to continue their participation and
further develop their social skills.

    Offline: Support for OB-YB (old boys- young boys)
    gatherings, etc.

  2. Talent donation program for graduates

    Healthy Body Class: Serving as assistant
    instructors in sports classes

    Healthy Mind Class:  1:1 mentoring

  3. Support for graduate and student joint teams
    to participate in external sports competitions

    Sports equipment, competition participation fees,
    one-point lessons, etc.
